Charlie Sheen....Is he really crazy???
Media likes to make people/things appear as if they are what they [reporters] say it is, but I view things with an open mind using my "own thoughts". (Hence the name)
Lets face it, YES he said some ridiculous things on how one can live the Sheen dream, and not being able to get the drug only he has because "there's only one Charlie Sheen", but does this classify him as the drug induced nut the media is reporting him to be? I think not! When I watched the interview Sheen had on CBS, I laughed uncontrollably at how he believed his own mockery at the questions he was asked about his love for drugs, partying, and the "please fire me" comments he spit out about his employers "ugly wives and kids". Many thought he was on drugs that very moment to say such things on national television, but I on the other hand had my own thoughts. (No pun inteneded...okay, maybe a little) C'mon people...it's CHARLIE SHEEN we're talking about here! When has he EVER been mild? You should have known he was going to give it to you raw with no vaseline! That's what sets him apart from your "average" celebrity, and lets face it...IT WORKS! Sheen almost comes through as genious with his approach, being that this is the PERFECT way to give society the middle finger, and "blame it on the alcohol", as Jamie Foxx put it. Sheen gets the beautiful women most men dream of having, lives the lifestyle most rockstars would be proud of, and has the bank account to match, and this is only going to set him even higher up the ladder.
This very same media that is trying so hard to tear him apart limb from limb, is giving him the voice and outlet to recreate himself, adding value to his stock along the way. You want to know why...because America believes in second, third, and fourth chances. Don't believe me? Reference back to Whitney Houston doing the interview when she announced "crack was a broke man's drug", or Britney Spears going G.I. Jane with the haircut and the horrendous coochy picture getting out of the car! Last but not least, look at Mel Gibson or Lindsay Lohan and you have to ask yourself....how do they still have careers?
So after analyzing the situation with Charlie Sheen, I had to ask myself, "Is Charlie Sheen crazy"? In my opinion..."NO, he's not". I think we have finally witnessed a celeb fed up with being "politically correct" and giving the "red carpet" answers to all the questions! This man understands new era marketing and is setting himself up to get that "3 million" an episode that he's demanding to receive now, instead of the former, not enough 2 million he was getting! Regardless of what any of us think about him...Sheen has us all watching to see what he'll say next...GENIOUS!
